Default Noise, tranny or PS pump????????

There's a noise that sounds like a reving noise, the dealer told me it could be the pump (which I know is problematic and was replaced about 60K miles ago) or the tranny.

My question is how could it be the tranny??? I relly notice it when i'Il turn the steering wheel while stationary but the dealer said it's even louder while driving (which i never noticed it while driving).

It drives well, it shifts well from what I have noticed, and the factory specified services were done on time 90% of the time.

The exhust is also leaking from the catalic conv and was advised to replace the gasket first and see. What is your input on these 2 problem Plz explain.

Thanks,
Nick

Default

Check your power steering fluid. Mine was low and I added some from Lucas. I had the same noise and this made it go away
