Does anyone know of a good shop for install and alignment on springs for their ISx50?

What price did you pay?

Thanks in advance!

Springs are bad alone, get some shocks with it before installing it, you'll blow your stock shocks and will have to replace them. Better to wait and get them both

Hmm, I thought most of the springs for the IS were designed to be used with stock shocks?

Also, anyone have a good shop they can recommend?

Coilovers = win
Just get some decent coilovers and you'll be happy.

If you want just a moddest drop of an 1" or so then you will be fine on stock shocks.

Coilovers are too stiff....it will def take away that oem comfy ride.

As for shops.....I did my spring install myself so I can't recommend. I know there are others on here that can....just keep bumpin this thread until you get recommendations.

If you get them done at a shop....look to spend anywhere from $450-650. Then plus alignment will be around $100.

Our stock shocks are just fine with the Eibach pro-kit springs.

yes, but for how long compared to shocks that are built for lowering springs. Of course you can put springs on stock shocks and run for a lil bit. Then you have dish out more money for for new shocks and pay for a shop to put those in. Thats why i said wait and get shocks with the springs. XD

Just as long! Our stock shocks are KYB and Tokico they can support pro-kit springs. Anything that sits lower then of course one should upgrade shocks. I am just referring to the Pro-Kit. I have hard many owners run on stock shock just fine for over 100K. I'm just saying if one wants to have a modest drop it's ok to use your OEM shock. Right now, I am on pro kit springs OEM shocks. I have been on this set up for approx 23K. I will let you know when I need to exchange. When that time comes......we will see.

Yup. I had H&R's sport on my car with stock for a while like 3-4 years. I think the drop was 1.4 all the way around and no problems what so ever. Than I decided to upgrade the stock struts and shocks to bilsteins.

If you still need springs put in, I'll be able to do it for $250. I have a shop in West Seattle.
