My GF and I are going to vegas in November and wanted some opinions on where to stay.. This will be my 3rd trip and her 4th or 5th. I've stayed at Luxor and NY NY, and now where looking to either MGM or Excaliber.. There is a few hundred dollar difference between the two but reviews say that there both good places..I wanted Bally's but there were mixed reviews.

I understand you get what you pay for but i'm more of on the cheap side sometimes but always looking for the better deal and have extra money for shows and night life. I gamble a little and enjoyed Roulette last time and loved it.

I've stayed at both and I'd stay at MGM. Excalibur is old and in desperate need of a remodel. The MGM is nice, there are a variety of restaurants in the restaurant walk, the pool area is big, overall it's a good place.

 

Between MGM and Excalibur? MGM!

I stayed at MGM, suites were nice, but the crowd was too old for me. 40-50ish crowd. Excalibur is more towards families with young kids. Really crappy. Between those two...MGM. Next time I'm staying at Venetian. Tao FTW!!

+1 I'd totally stay at Mandalay bay or MGM ... Id also try trump towers (hotel only) wynn encore, Venitian, also cesars palace on one of thier new wings !! Pm us if you guys need some more help
