as some of you may know, my sc got into an accident a while back during the snow. it wasn't too bad of a damage..just on where it was..so now, while i put my car in the repair shop, i'm going to need a car to go around. and while im at it, a car which is reliable and awd. that way, when winter comes around, i have a winter car.

i also noticed that the non-lexus vehicles for sale classifieds section is gone. so thats why i am posting in here, and also in hopes that someone local has what im looking for.

the car i plan on getting is a 92-97 toyota previa awd. i dont really care so much for color, or whether its cloth or leather interior. i'm just trying to find a pretty nice one with decent mileage. if any of you have one you plan on selling, or know anyone, i would be quite interested.

lol my parents just got rid of theirs for a 2010 rx awd. if you get it, make sure you get it in manual good luck with the search!

dang..really? that sucks..haha..only if my search was a little sooner! was theirs manual? i was debating whether i wanted stick or auto..auto would be more luxurious because then its just straight up cruisin..the stick would be more sporty. and i still have my 5 spd sc..and thats plenty sporty for me! haha

 

one note is that it is a little harder to obtain the parts for the vans. But you should definetly hit up TCRmagic. His name is Shawn too. But he would know everything you would want to know about the previa.

My buddy have a Previa, its the baller model with the supercharger, multiple sunroofs, etc.

I will see if he is looking to sell it...

 

hmm supercharger model eh? I don't think that's an awd version. But definetly the thing to look for is the dual sunroofs, and the captain chairs.

 

actually..they do have the awd supercharger version! that would be a major plus..but not really looking for that. and thanks! that would be awesome if he was sellin it.

as for the captains chairs..hell yes! thats the one im lookin for in particular too! if not..i think i can work my way around that too..cuz im plannin to do a whole big interior modification. i may state my whole plans..i may not..depends..haha. all i will say, is that its going to be vip status..or at least vip inspired

 

I talked to him today, and they are actually trying to sell it right now, I had no idea..

This is a RWD S/C model, it does have the captains that turn around, and the dual sun roofs. The car is not perfect, but they are selling it for $1500. It has been in his family since new, if you are interested I can get more info!

oh yea..i actually saw that one..not sure if its awd or not..but i dont wanna buy one already done up..i kinda want to do my own build and build it to my specs..its kinda harder for me to work on someone elses ride when they've already done a lot of the work.

and yea..two hot previas done vip style would be filthy..especially when done right..so far i like shawns taste..so yea..im sure he'll do his right
