I'm gonna be totally honest with you Ray (don't mean to hate, be offensive or nothing like that, just expressing my own opinion)... The wheels itself look badass but you should have gotten ATLEAST 18s on the wheels, the 17s just look too small and weird with the fatty rubber. Although the other wheels you had on when I first met you where smaller in diameter but the hardcore offset was awesome. Also for some weird reason I feel that these high offset wheels don't suit you or the car lol your car looks much more aggressive with lower offsets haha
Looks clean Ray. The wheels flow nice with the blue. What's your wheel and tire specs?
17x8 +25 in the front
17x9 +20 in the rear
215/45/17 tires
i wanted to go to 205 in the front but didnt have a set =P

yeah i wanted to go 18's or even 19 but its not economical for me, that would mean i would have to get a separate set of tires
i just rotate the new tires new rims to the track tire, rims which you gave me to burnout tires which are the stock rims
so it works out, i fully use the rubber
and as far as the offset the old wheels were just too much, i couldnt push it on the corners when i did runs on the windy roads...i wanted the wheels to be somewhat less agressive and i miscalculted a bit but luckily it still ok
they look good and they handle pretty good on the windy roads
dang +25 and +20... one of the very few IS300's with those low offsets... makes me jealous lol
yeah the original specs i wanted was
17x9 +23 in the front and 17x10 +18 in the rear
but they didnt make the the eurolines 17x10 so i had to go 1 size lower since
i wanted to go staggered and i had less time to recalculate the offset but overall i'm pretty satisfied
i coulda prolly did +20 F and +15 R
the old wheels were 17x7.5 +8 in the front and 17x8 +15 in the rear
stretched tires are gay. and knowing that all you have to do is put wheels that don't fit your car to get an article written about you is just pain sad.
I have to differ with you there Mr. Chili. IMO, if you run stretched to get a flusher look and to be able to tuck the tire and just show rim then i'm all for that. BUT, there is also such a thing as TOO much stretch. That, I don't like. When you can see the barrel of the wheel because there is a gap between the side wall of the tire and the lip then it's just plain silly. But in any catagory there will be mild to wild styles. So with that being said, to each his/her own.
I wanna be hellaflush approved lol I wonder what ridiculous offset and stretching I will be doing on my next set up lol I just know whatever I am doing that Chilli is gonna be flaming on me haha
well the reason y i strech mine is for functionality.....
with my driving habits and with drifting i had better handling on my ride with stretched tires, vise normal tires
there's no tire flex if the tire is stretched vise normal
that y i do it, and just like with everything else, this is a trend
its up to you if you wanna go with it or not =P
