Default Anyone know any good traffic lawyers?

I wrecked my SC a couple weeks ago, and just got a ticket in the mail, and they gave me a f***ing reckless for it. I need to find a good lawyer to help me fight it, but I don't have a ton of money to throw down either...was wondering if anyone on here can help me out. Thanks in advance. -Zach

I missed about you wrecked your car. The above is floating around as a best lawyer for traffic citations among few other car forums.

Hope she can help. Good luck.

I was on my way to work and was running late. It was really foggy. I was going faster than I should've been and some guy pulled out of William's neighborhood and I didn't have time to stop, rear ended him.

So far the couple lawyers I've talked to think it's ridiculous that I was cited for reckless driving. Hopefully I can get this dropped, because if I can't, I'm pretty much *****ed. I'd lose my job, license, and everything. Not good.

http://www.mucklestone.com/ is recommended on Supraforums too. Call em up and let us know how it ends up. $300-350 should be nothing compared to the long term costs it will have on you.

Sorry to hear about the accident and ticket, man. Cops will look for any reason to give someone a ticket nowadays... One of my friends was driving around a blind turn at about 5 MPH slower than the speed limit, well there's a house with a driveway on the middle of that blind turn and a 900+ yr old woman lives there, backed her car out and into my friend's front end. Cops came later, ticketed both, but the ticket my friend received was "going too fast for conditions." Bull ****** if you ask me. Anyways, I hope you get out of this soon.

you might not need a lawyer. i got a ticket for "failure to use due care through an intersection." basically, speeding through an intersection. it's a major violation, but i was able to take a defensive driving class and pay a fine and have it reduced to a parking ticket. no points on my insurance. washington might be different than nevada. but here a judge can give you permission to take defensive driving in cases like yours. if it's a first-time offense, and no one was injured, they probably will. if i were you, i'd show up for your court date and ask to take defensive driving. if they say you can't, then i'd plead not guilty and hire a lawyer.

So far the few I've found charge 2,500, including Mucklestone. I know the saying you get what you pay for is true, but if anyone knows someone that's good and not as expensive, it'd help.

$2500 is probably a retainer. $1500~3000 is pretty standard on retainer lawyers ask initially.
