Default Help Finding a spot for RHD conversion in Cali

Im brand new to this place and it's too bad I didnt know about it sooner because there is a lot of info on here.

Anyways I have a 1992 SC300 that is basically stock with just some PIAA wheels and Tanabe coils, but as im getting down the road I have a lot in mind for it.

I Finally got my hands on a full front clip from a Soarer (1jz) and im trying to find a place In Southern California to do the swap, but here is the thing I dont want just the normal front clip awap I want it made into a RHD........Any help of suggestions?

Thanks in Advance!

Thats going to be alot of work and not to mention cost you a fortune. Im sure there is someone in SoCal who is willing to work with you. But you know what they say, money talks.

Is it really going to Cost that much? I mean from what I know it's harder to do the normal 1z front clip swap........what's the process? I wanna make it a rhd but if it's a lot more money I might just settle for the normal clip swap

Most shops are going to cut out your existing firewall and replace it with the jdm firewall to ease the swap. Since you are in California this won't pass inspection since all the vins have to match. You could move the vin from your car to the rhd firewall, but they will notice since the car is not factory RHD, and you could face severe charges.

I would recommend going with the 1JZ swap and calling it a day.

Good luck with whatever you decide. There is a ton of information on this board.

Thanks for joining!

Import a RHD instead

Why not go with a RHD Skyline
