Taking the car to Mr. Tint and Sun this Friday, I'll update after they are done with the car ...

 

Accutint in Bellevue, they do great work.

 

I have been looking for anyone that does Huper Optik around here but doesn't look like anyone does. Its either Johnson or Lumar. Has anyone got Huper on their car?

So, I got my car back from Mr. Tint and Sun - they did a pretty good job. Although this morning I noticed something weird about the rear window. When other cars have their headlights on, I get this weird reflection thing going on with the defrost lines. It's hard to explain, but the defrost lines combined with the headlights of other cars give this glare and makes the defrost lines more visible than usual.

Any thoughts anyone?

 

Wait a week and if it still occurs then take it back. It may just need time to dry completely.

Naga11, I got mine done from Mr. Tint and Sun as well. I get the same lines still after 3+ months of having the tint.

I'm thinking about taking it in to complain to the owner. The installation looks great to me, I just think it may be the Madico Charcool tint that he used that may be the problem.

 

2X on Acutint - they get all of those BMW's Lex's Maserati's (we've seen them there) from the Dealers. We've done both of our Lex's there and haven't had a problem..

 

Planning to have tint installed on my GS before moving to Spokane, Wa. Before I have this done can someone tell me the Law % for tinted window for WA, hopefully it’s the same or better than Cal. Oh yes we did recieve our first welcoming gift from the guys in white cars at the enterance to Spokane a few weeks ago when we drove the wifes car there $165$. Those guys don't miss a thing so I'd better have the right tint. Thanks.
