Thank you for trying. I was about to do this to my wife's NX over the weekend since her subscription just expired on the 18' as well. Shame that it doesn't work. Stupid Lexus/Toyota. So infuraiating that the vehicle has ALL the compatibility for the hardware of remote starting yet doesn't without the subscription.
There is another thread here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...starter-4.html
Two items were brought up. 2015-2017 Remote starter:
https://www.12volt.solutions/product...v2-1-smart-key
2015-2018:
https://www.12volt.solutions/product...h-button-start
When I emailed them about the 2018 model with Enform they stated that a fuse has to be pulled when programming the remote start, then once the remote start is programmed the fuse is put back and all is well. I am going to be ordering the 2015-2018 and installing it in my wife's NX. It uses the stock key fob and is 100% plug and play. Should be an easy install since I have already taken her entire center dash/console apart when I did various other things.
At $289 it's cheap and I'd much rather pay a company that made the device and put the time into it rather than to have to pay a subscription service for Lexus/Toyota when this should have been a STANDARD feature of the vehicle.. I totally get wanting to start the car with my phone, then yes, I should pay a subscription. But if using the OEM key fob, it should still be able to remote start the vehicle.... Stupid lexus/toyota. My sister's $17k honda fit has remote start from the factory using the fob and it tells her the temp inside the car... Why a vehicle that is more than double the cost doesn't have this as a standard feature is so asinine.

Note I am NOT affiliated at all with the above site. Just passing some info. I had placed the 2018 kit in my cart last week. Got a couple emails from them stating to finish check out... like always I always ignore those emails..lol
Got an email from them yesterday and they said "ok you win, you waited and it paid off"..lol I guess if you hold out for a week they send you a 10% off coupon to use on the order. I ended up saving about $30 on the order. Figured I'd share the info.
Should have it probably in a week. I'll post up after I install it. Should be fairly simple since it's all plug and play.
*EDIT 2:
I emailed them an apparently the new version of their remote start no longer requires ANYTHING to be done to Enform or fuses to be pulled prior to programming.
When I get the kit I can take pictures of the install to help anyone going forward.

Got the remote start kit. Arrived super fast. In like 2-3 days fast. Only thing I wish they would have done is double box the item... but all arrived ok and un-damaged. Depending on weather I should have this installed here shortly. They are calling for snow the next two days so depending on if I can button other projects it would be nice to have this done in a day or so.
Pics of what I got:

I don't usually write or read posts however here it is:
I finally got the long awaiting for LEXUS START+ GENUINE LONG RANGE REMOTE ENGINE STARTER installed from my dealership (Ottawa/Gatineau Region) on my:
Canadian, Lexus 2018, NX 300, with Executive Package, manufactured date: 03/18.
Part Number for the remote on the invoice is: PK5A0-78JSM, LONG RANGE RES
The long range remote works as expected, and both OEM fobs got activated and also work as expected.
Pass this around for all our Canadian friends.

Forgot to update this thread.
Remote starter installed from 12volt solutions. Truly plug and play. This took me a little over an hour to install and mainly because I was trying to find the SLP connector that is behind the lower steering column trim piece. The 30 pin BCM connector is on the far left and you look at it from under the floor. It's the middle connection., You can ONLY plug their harness into one connector, if it doesn't fit it's not the right one.
Programming involved holding the directed pc3 module then flipping their toggle on/off switch to on. Hit the ignition button twice and then once more to shut the car off. Done. Three presses of the lock button the OEM fob starts the car. Run time is 15 minutes. All factory settings apply. So if you open the door, the remote start shuts off...etc.
I used this video to find the SLP connector and to remove the lower steering column trim piece.

Directed info. The kit I have came with the db3 module and not a DBALL. But this helps none the less in terms of connectors/location.

Happy I'm not tied to a subscription service to start the vehicle.
