Default Disabling auto-dimming in rearview mirror

Does anyone know how to disable the auto-dimming feature in the rearview mirror (the mirror in the car)? Perhaps, there is a fuse I can pull out. My tint is so dark that auto-dimming is unnecessary. It would be great to disable that feature without also disabling the Homelink or the right side mirror, however, if that is the only way, I am OK with that since I do not use the Homelink. Thank you.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. When you turn it off, once you start the car again, the mirror automatically turns on again. Is there a way to permanently disable it?

Curious? Why would you want to disable the auto dimming mirror? I personally would never be able to go back to mirrors that didn't auto dim. Just this morning I was thinking how great a feature it is when a big brand new Dodge Ram pickup was behind me with those new and super bright LED's shining in the mirror. I think this is one of the best features to come out in recent years as near standard equipment.

Try covering the sensor on the mirror side. Covering the windshield side sensor forces it to fully
tint, perhaps covering the mirror side will prevent it from tinting?
