Hold w/ Stop Start

Sometimes when I have the Hold Function the engine stays off, but 99% of the time once hold is activated and my foot is off the engine starts... anyone have this occurrence?

My Lincoln has this feature, if the battery level falls below a certain number my car will restart sitting at a light. After a little bit of driving it functions normally again.
