Default Trunk tools with Run Flat tires

Just took delivery of the NX 350h in Ontario, Canada yesterday.

Last night when I got home to check under the trunk carpet, I noticed the lack of tools included.

I understand there's no spare tire with run flats.
But what I see is a screw driver and wheel lock. Not even a jack or tow eye.

Just wondering if everyone else in Canada or US is the same before I get in touch with the dealer asking for missing tools.

I relocated the wheel lock, it should be put in the circle cut cut just above. Dealer put it there in the picture. I never understood why Lexus designed the slot for wheel lock so far inside and hard to reach, the location was the same in the 1st gen NX.

That’s the same way mine came equipped when picked up in Atlanta.

I have a 450h+ and got a few more items but definitely not enough to fix a tire.

I'll try to take a pic and list is later today.

Our tray in the US Spec 350H was entirely empty. I've ordered the spare from Modern Spare and added a few tools from the workbench.

I didn't even get a wheel lock. I asked the dealer and they said it didn't come with run flat tires. I guess I will go to a local tire store to verify.

I am prepping for some tools to support non-runflats in my near future (as soon as Costco gets some more Crossclimate2 in stock)

I already keep a small 12v pump in the car, and picked up this plug kit. I've successfully used bacon-strip type kits in the past, so I'm comfortable using this as a temp solution

I have a scissor jack kit on order too that comes with everything else I need (jack, lug wrench, etc).

I just verified with tire store that I do not need a wheel lock key on my 2022 NX with Run Flat tires.

We bought a small rechargeable air pump (fits next to the first aid box in the rear area). I didn't know they existed - much smaller and more efficient than the old cigarette lighter versions. Just needs to be charged once a month.

Wheel locks are not standard on any US delivered Lexus cars....they are a port installed option that sometimes gets added to orders, or you can get them from the dealer parts department. You may be able to get a discount from your dealer's parts department, or you can buy direct from the maker of the locks (not Lexus/Toyota) but I've forgotten their name. There's at least one thread here that has that info.

The part # is PT276-53210-02 . The NX uses lug bolts instead of studs and lug nuts.

We got the NX back from the dealer (5 days for the 5k service? ) and I "installed" my emergency tools I purchased. The scissor jack fits in the stock location but had some wiggle, so I padded it with some microfiber shop cloths. In the bag that it came in I put the tire plug kit and 12v pump, along with the lug nut wrench and jack handle.

Now if only Costco would get the tires I want back in stock...
