So I've dug through all the settings and the manual and if it's there, I'm missing it. In our 2018 Sienna, when you slow down to a low speed, like pulling into a parking space, the display switches on the panoramic view mode so you can see as you pull in. On my new NX, the panoramic view mode comes on in reverse, but I always have to push the button on the dash to turn it on when going forward, even at a crawl. Am I missing something? Is there a way to make it automatically turn on panoramic view when pulling forward at low speed? If not, this needs a software update as it's very frustrating to always have to push the button to get the view.
I have mine programmed to do that. Comes on when going real slow, up to a light, in a parking spot, etc. Comes on automatically, no need to touch anything, turns off when moving forward 3-5 mph?? I think I just played with the settings till I found it. It's probably in the user manual.

Turning the intuitive parking assist function ON/OFFThe intuitive parking assist can be enabled/disabled on the center display asfollows:1Select .2 Select [Driving assist].3 Select [Intuitive parking assist] to change ON (enable)/OFF (disabled). When ON (enable) is selected, the intuitive parking assist indicator comes on.When turned OFF (disabled), the intuitive parking assist will be disabled and will not beenabled until the setting is changed to ON again in center display.(The system will not be reenabled by operating the engine switch.)6-2. When the camera is on, look at the icons along the left-side of the screen. Touch the "A" that has a line through it. That will switch panoramic view into auto mode and it will come on when you slow to 8 mph at traffic lights, your garage door, etc.

Do most folks turn the setting to auto? I am not sure what purpose it serves when stopped at a light
I just turned it on. I think one of the benefits of having the setting to Auto when stopped at a light is that you can see how far you are from the stop line.

As Dkaplan notes, it is marginally useful at stop lights as you note the stop line, but it also obscures other things you might want to be seeing on the screen. The main advantage of setting it to auto is that it will turn on as you approach the garage or any obstacles. And this: The other day, a family of geese was leisurely crossing the road in a rather disorganized way, and the front camera - which had turned on automatically - saved the lives of a couple of smallish geese-lings.

We like it on for helping with tight parking spots but at stop lights it’s a pain. We’re forever X’ing the pop up at lights so we can look at the map or another display.

We saw this but were looking for auto panoramic view (thanks to redhot47fl):

I haven't tried it yet, but will in about 45 minutes!

Only if the system was smart enough to distinguish between pulling in/out of parking spots vs stop & go traffic or at a light.
I want it to turn on when parking head in but not when stopped at a light or slowing down in traffic.
