Yep! I like them. My NX is the only NX that I've seen on the road with the BSM. If you end up getting it, the number one reason is for cosmetics, the protection from car door dings is... questionable at best.
thanks! I never know how to use the search function on forums haha

It does look good! I am deciding on this or having PPF but PPF is a bit too pricy. Im mainly trying to get the BSM to prevent from people swinging their doors wide open. Happened to my 4runner and BSM could’ve prevented. Thanks for sharing

I did a totally NIST-approved test to illustrate The bottom part of the door bulges out far beyond the BSM does The BSM can get 2 fat fingers between my NIST-approved broom A side profile view of the gap, showing the difference in the dimensions
While it can protect the door in certain circumstances, the weak spot is the bulge in the bottom, Any door opening into that (especially a lower sedan) will ding it.
PPF is great, as it will both absorb and cushion the blow - but depending on the idiot/vehicle, may still cause a ding. That and it's expensive.
I'm trying to find the color-matching BSM parts from lexus, however it looks like they're all "accent color" and not exact color matches? For cloudburst gray exterior, would I go with Sonic Titanium (PT29A7822001) or Sonic Chrome (PT29A7822011)?

Really? The BSM I purchased from my dealer wasn't an accent - it was labeled as "Atomic Silver". Can you call their (Dealer) parts department and find out? They seem to have a better search tool than the Lexus parts website.

Sonic Titanium is the UK name for what's known as Atomic Silver in North America and is quite a bit lighter than Cloudburst Grey.
If the BSM colours you are referencing are using the UK equivalents then Cloudburst Grey is known as Sonic Grey (paint code 1L1).
Operative words. Can be removed in minutes… by anyone!
Haha.
Hopefully not. They are secured by a cable that is placed inside the car and is supposedly strong enough to prevent being cut by your average knife or scissors. (Famous last words 🤣 )
