I am a new owner of NX450h.
Trying to find a compact size spare tire for my long distance trips. Just called local Lexus dealership. No help there.
Does anyone know what size spare tire do I need? I tried to install my friend’s 2020 RAV4 LE spare on steel rim but, it does not fit. While the bolt pattern is good, brake calliper of my NX is touching the rim.
I called local junk yard, they have 2021 RAV4 Limited (they don’t know the trim). The spare is 17 inch spoked rim…
Any idea what size compact spare should I look for and, what model/trim Toyota RAV4 is compatible?

I saw this but, $103 shipping to Canada plus, duties, taxes make it a bit/too expensive. I’d rather go with compatible option if exists.

 

Find a 2019+ RX spare tire on Ebay. 2019+ 18inch Highlander or Rav4 spare tire should work too. We all use the same wheel bolt pattern. 5X114.3

 

it must be 18”. Right? I have seen some 17” for RAV4… they will not work? As I mentioned from 2021 RAV4 Limited.

I've read that Lexus went to lug bolts like a lot of BMW's on these wheels instead of the usual studs and flat washer nuts like before.
Any body take a wheel off to get spec and to see what the lug seat type is?? Do they take a special wheels for these. The spare if you get one has to match the lug bolts.
I had a M3 no spare with lug bolts and had to look at a spare that fit the lug bolt seating surface.
