Default Interior detailing question

Is anyone applying some interior detailing liquid on dash material? Not sure if that would cause streaking or shine etc?
Also, not interior, but what about black material below doors on outside. Hate to start that if not necessary (other that normal washing etc.

thanks

What I use on the Black trim both interior and especially on the exterior is 303 Aerospace Protectant.

As MidCow states, Lexol is great. For a quick clean I use Adam’s total interior cleaner. Works on all surfaces, including glass. I haven’t used it on fabric or carpet, but those should be cleaned by another product anyway. No streaks and leaves a matte finish, plus UV protection. It’s not a dressing, but a good cleaner.

As for the outside trim I use Adam’s VRT. Again, a matte finish that repels moisture well.

I too use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the interior trim. For the exterior, I use Bouncers Dress To Impress.

I was using 303 and recently switced to Adams. I noticed that it is much less shiny than the 303 which I prefer.

Are you guys finding it hard to keep the piano black free of fingerprints?

Yes! And those pesky dust particles that just seem to love sticking to the piano black surface🥴. I've kept a microfibre towel in the centre storage box just for that reason and find myself using it several times a day🤣

I wonder if an inexpensive Ceramic Spray Coating would help keep the dust off, something like the Turtle Wax Hybrid Spray?

It will be a day of celebration when manufacturers decide to move away from piano black to matte finish surfaces.

Looks like Lexus finally got the hint on the new 2023 RX with very little piano black. The 500h looks sharp but no plug in hybrid model.......yet.

Kind of hard to tell, plus those are all preproduction. That said, they have moved away from the spindle grill which is awesome for the RX and sad that the NX will have it for a while. The Luxury package with the RX comes with 21" wheels. What is wrong with Lexus?! At some point we also need to reach peak wheel size.

We usually use carwashes, but decided we want to start detailing our new NX450h+, so this is a great help. Does anyone have a good wash cloth/glove you can recommend as well? Any suggestions of advice is appreciated.
