I’ve gone into settings in the car multiple times turned off the rear seat reminder and it still sends a reminder to the phone app, is this happening to others?

And now just realizing no CD player, that sucks.

CD is a superior sound.

Sure wish I understood why when the EV mode is available when I’m driving slow and I know it’s available because if I push the button it comes on, why isn’t the car automatically putting it in EV mode for me in every instance where it is available.

also, when I connected my car to my home Wi-Fi my home Wi-Fi told me that a Panasonic device connected.

 

Nobody else? I have rebooted the in car system, turned it on and off etc.

Plus when I use my app to remote lock the car, the first time I do it, tells me a key fob is in the car. There is not. If I do it a 2nd time it works, so far.

 

It tells me all the time to check the back seat. I have only opened them the day I took delivery. Maybe a couple of times while washing it. In fact right now my wife told me to check the back seat. Maybe a squirrel got in and is running around!!!

 

My 2020 GMC came with no CD also. Transferred everything to a USB...all good now.

 

I have set mine to off many times, but it always still does it.

 

Have you turned off the back seat reminder in the Lexus app? I saw you mentioned it was turned off in the vehicle but there’s two spots. You’ll find this information under your account settings in the app.

 

Thank you, that’s gotta be it, I hope, and when you get into notifications, there’s actually two mentions of rear seat reminder that you have to turn off, the one you show in your picture and one below under where your picture cuts off, at the very bottom of the page.

oh you’re right! I totally missed that since I turned them off months ago. It was driving me insane. I’m glad I could help ☺️

 

Has anyone successfully silenced this notification only to have it return? I turned this off in the app the day after I got my car and now a month later, it's sending me the notification again. I have not changed any settings (it's still set to off). Tried logging out and signing back in to the app, but it didn't stop.

 

definitely need to look into this. I'll keep you posted if it remains an issue.

 

@URNX I had it turned off in all settings, but a notification came up once recently. I checked my settings and it hasn’t come back again. Yet, lol. I’m assuming it’s a bug but it’s not often enough for me to worry.
