Hey Moderator; maybe we should merge the 2 threads talking about puddle lights? Seems to be similar topic, no?

Quote: Check my post under 350h puddle lights. I ordered the truck puddle lights. One LED to four. A huge difference and easy to install.
Thanks, Freds430. I'm in Canada and US dealers are loathe to ship here., Any aftermarket replacements yet?

Fellow Canadian here. I ordered mine from addcarlights.com and it came pretty quickly with no hassles.

I too ordered the puddle lights for the front door from there. I'm talking about the one for the inside of the rear hatch. I didn't see an option to buy it on this site.

Oh that.

Maybe we should get @lsft to tell us. He's in Canada and he ordered it for his vehicle.

I haven't tried to order it myself.

I ordered mine direct from the dealer, install was easy. It was a special order but arrived the next day.

Some of us are in Canada... Not every US dealer ships to Canada; most do not.

I also want to get the rear hatch 4 led light. Can't justify paying $150 CAD at the dealer. Anyone have cheaper options?

I saw this one on Ali but it looks tacky.

I just put these in my RX! Not sure if they share the same cover style. Can anyone chime in?

If they share, then I definitely can share!

I have had unsatisfactoy experience so far with the Chinese site selling the 3D Shadow Light projection side door courtesy light. I had ordered their style C light thinking it would be brighter than my current NX door side. It came in a package with no style marking nor any instructions and I got the style A. Several odd communications and their insisting I send a pic of the wrong item with the site( which I had to go back and install again to get the pic), I finally requested they just cancel my order and send me a postpaid return for their shipped wrong item. They refused and said they would sent a free style C. Not sure if that means a goodwill offer for my troubles or just correcting their mistake and sending the right one. I hope the former, but their communication is hard to read.

So far a PIA to work with, IMHO. Beyond not impressed with their customer support, the light just seems like a cheap aftermarket LED light- no worst, but hard to see any better. But this one is relatively expensive. If I could do it again and wanted just a projection of Lexus I would get the OEM one.

This is probably a dumb question, but do the aftermarket puddle lights cause any electrical issues short or long term? I’ve never had puddle lights before and am interested in the aftermarket ones after seeing all these photos.

There’s no such thing as a dumb question and yes I’ve been using these aftermarket lights for the last 5-6 Lexus RX350, IS250 and IS350. No problem at all whatsoever!!

Fifth Lexus with puddle lights and zero problems. One is replacing an LED light for another LED light or in some cases a non LED door lamp with a puddle light.
