So I have gotten My Nx+ to back out of my garage onto my driveway remotely. I got it down to where I can safely back out several times now. Granted it took me a few weeks to get the sequence correct where the vehicle was not fighting with the phone app. Its a great conversation piece with the neighbors

Couple of things I have learned.

1. The backup sensors are very sensitive (Nx is parked straight in). You must have a clear path when backing out
2. I am still trying to see if I can get it to come straight in but not much luck yet. I will try and use advance park to 'mark the area zone' and see if that helps.
3. Now for "Costco style" parking where you are in the vehicle, it works quite well. It also will back out in either direction easily.

Just wondering if anyone else has had some success in this. I know its implementation is kinda gimmicky but hey it's a feature to play with. Makes you go back to the childhood days when you first had your remote controlled car...LOL

 

I find Remote Park a little gimmicky. I find Advanced Park works really well if you set it to back into a parking spot. Much less maneuvering. Then just pull straight out by yourself.

 

How did you get Remote Park to work? I have a 22 NX450h+ where the spec sheet says it has Advanced Remote Park, but I've never got it to show up on the app. I've also talked to Lexus head office and I eventually found out that they took it out for the 2022 model year. Did they put that back in for future years or am I just missing an app/software update to enable this on my car?

 

I have it on the 26 model and it’s on my remote with active subscription. I will try and post a picture of it tomorrow
