Your view might be different depending on where you live. Here in the southern CA desert in the summer interior temps in a closed car left outside can reach 150°. I'll gladly start the car cooling off a few minutes before I climb in, gas mileage be damned. Unfortunately there's no pre-cooling of the steering wheel.

Ah, Interesting. I've been wondering what would continue to function under the 10 yr service connect subscription. Frankly, just looking at gas (even % is good) and tires is 95% what I use the app for so if I get to keep those I'll be happy(ish). Do you still get "open window" alerts, or are they gone now?

Good question about the windows. I know you get one of those weired beeps when you've shut it off and you open the door to exit. It sounds like a sick cow trying to moo. As soon as I hear that cow i sit back down and look at notice on driver screen, restart car and put up window. So I never have gotten to that, but I'm gonna try now! Plus that made me think about the reminder that your doors are unlocked too so I'll check that. I generally use the vehicle info on centre screen to peruse the tire pressure especially with our cold season temp swings we know and love here in Canada.

Update: Nope no info presented to my app from car, I've left a window open and the doors unlocked while in my garage. It's been 1/2 hr and nothing so that's a hard no.
