Default Window open indication on app

My Lexus NX 350 premium is a 2025 model and about three months old. I just started getting an indication on the app on my phone that the driver’s window was open, except that it is not. I’ve gone to the car and open and close the window manually to see if they reset anything but it doesn’t -any idea what’s going on?

That's a known glitch with the app, especially on new models. The window sensor or the telematics module is sending a false signal. The manual reset you tried is the usual fix, so since that failed, it's likely a software bug.
Your best bet is to report it to the dealer. A software update for the telematics system often resolves these phantom notifications. It's a warranty fix, so it shouldn't cost you anything.

Do you have a notification in the car that the window is open, or is it just in the app?

I would probably also try deleting and reinstalling the app.

Couple thing to try/consider

a) You might want to reset the jam protection function on your window, to make sure the car truly knows what the open or closed position is. There is a procedure in the owner's manual for this. On another car I have, about once or twice a year the car loses the window positioning, and I have to perform the jam reset (can also happen with low battery voltage).
b) You weren't clear if you were seeing an alert, or if you were looking at the status screen. If an alert, check the time of the alert on your phone to make sure its referring to the last time you've stopped your car. Sometimes the alerts arrive a bit late. I have on occasion seen an alert when out shopping thinking I've left something open, only to realize the alert was from earlier in the day when the car was still in my garage. If looking at the status screen, after closing the window, ask the app to refresh to make sure you are actually seeing the latest data.
