Default Adjustment for interior door light going off?

I’m curious if there’s a way to adjust how long the interior light stays on when entering and closing the door on a running vehicle? My 350h’s light goes off almost immediately upon closing of the door and it’d be more convenient if I could adjust the duration before it fades to off. I know I can touch the light button and it will stay on until switched off, but I’m curious if the timing for dimming can be adjusted in this circumstance. Thanks!

You could ask your dealer if it's possible. They should have offered you a personalization appointment if and when you bought new. Others have adjusted how many turn signal blinks you get when you tap your stalk from only 3 to 5 or 7 even. Another is hold down your lock button on your fob and it will open all your windows etc. The tech's just need to plug in the OBD port and look into it I think. Come to think of it I would like to make that change too. As you know it gets dark early in the colder months.

^^ This. Look in your manual and look for “personalizations” and see if it’s an option (I can not recall). On older cars you needed Techstream or another bi-directional device to customize them. Newer models have some more common ones accessible via the nav panel, so it might be there. I have not gone through the ‘24 model for this and don’t fully know what’s screen adjustable vs. requires a computer device.

I checked and under settings you can control how long the interior lighting stays on when you turn the car off and the headlights too. But nothing to set for how long before they dim when you get in and press start button. It just turns off interior lighting immediately.
