Default Headlight upgrade

Looking to upgrade to the Tri beam headlight. Is this just a matter of getting the Tri beams and installing them or do I need more ?

Also is there a way to add the 360 camera system ?

Thank you all,
Ed

Retrofitting the headlights and cameras with OEM parts would likely be more expensive than just trading in for another car already with those features (unless you're buying the parts in a dark alleyway). As to whether the wire harness and software natively supports these swaps, idk (the triple beans use vision and/or radar recognition to guide aiming, so I would think there may perhaps be some software differences mixed up in there). There was a posting in this forum from early this year or sometime last year where someone bought an aftermarket 360 cam system to add to their car. But IIRC they felt the required disassembly/assembly process was too invasive so decided not to proceed. I haven't heard of anyone else attempting it.

There's an enormous amount of tech involved in the triple beam headlight system. It has a auto dimming high beam headlight system that will shutter the beam of light partially to not blind oncoming vehicles utilizing the front camera system, it's quite complex. Plus at startup they do a little choreograph.

The complexity of the 360 camera system is also quite complex to start from scratch and put it in. I mean honestly there's plenty of electronic controls going on to make these systems work you would for sure void your warranty trying to do this. Plenty of aftermarket alarm systems once installed get flack from dealers and they refuse to diagnose anything electronic until the alarm system is deactivated at the owners expense.

Here's the retail price of one light assembly in USD that's right! about $3,200 USD! and that's for one.

video of lighting system time stamp 7:10 shows how they articulate down and up when turned on. At 12:40 he shows high and low beam lighting in action.
