I am impressed with the CarPlay — particularly the three rows of icons and widgets. I also like how the Apple Map screen now automatically resizes to fit the display area.
I installed Beta 4 and now the Zoom to fill screen is not working and there are two rows of icons and although you can set up widgets in Stack 3 they do not display in CarPlay.

Please keep us informed of the progress. I assume you can report the beta issues to Apple?
After sorting the apps that I want to display on CarPlay and then leaving the app and the car, upon re-staring the car the selected and sort apps have now resorted themselves alphabetically. Even with the screen expand with the double arrow on the top left corner only two rows of apps are shown (versus the three rows in Beta 3)

Buggy — CarPlay screen after shutdown and the restart CarPlay on the iPhone re-sorts all of the selected apps alphabetically.
I have also found that if you maximize the CarPlay screen with the double arrow on the top left of the CarPlay screen the three stacks of the Widgets are displayed as desired versus the three stacks displayed in Beta 3 without the CarPlay screen being maximized.

Are you using iOS 26?

Yes iOS 26 Public Beta 1
I don't get 3 stacks only 2 even at the maximum screen size covering the Lexus buttons. I also saw only 2 rows of icons instead of the 3 rows in the last Developer Beta.
