Default AC switching off

Hey Folks,

The air conditioning in our '25 NX450h does not remember the last setting. Every time you start the car you must turn on the ac. Pretty much from June to September we are going to want it on.

Any way to make it default to the last setting vs defaulting to off? I looked in the manual and came up empty

Thanks in advance!!

I think that's an issue for your dealer.
Mine stays the same all the time unless I change it.

Are you logging into your profile on the car and does it automatically recognize you when you get in and log you back in?

It should remember your setting and save to your profile when you lock the car.

Yes, we are logging in with a profile. Maybe our profile has it as off?
How do you edit such things in the profile?

Glad to hear it is possible for it to remember the last setting!

if you are logged in and it welcomes you by your name, it will automatically remember how you had it when you locked the car.

So any changes I make that drive will automatically save just by locking the door?

I find the AC button is 'just for show' in most circumstances. You'll find if you set your temperature the car will automatically use the AC when it needs to, no problem at all! Hitting the button will 'force' the hvac to turn on AC, this is handy if window interiors are fogging up from humidity.

I also find that my AC does not indicate 'ON' when I restart my car. I use same key and iphone and have my user profile working fine and completely setup. I lock my doors everytime I leave my car too. I don't think anything is broken or not working right, I believe it's designed that way to avoid using more gasoline / battery draw when not needed to improve mpg. As I said before 'set it (temp) and forget it' for most instances and the AC functions when needed and the indicator light won't come on.

Set everything to Auto and turn the concierge ON and forget about everything, turn your dial to desired temp and you are done your car will do the rest.
