I got the offer and it extended me seven more years. It was great to get it. I don't use the digital key but I like having the app to see the car is locked and tire pressures Etc and where it's located. I have a 2022 that just turned 3 years old.

 

Just noticed on wife's NX app her subscription expired two months ago. Looking on the app I noticed that under status there's no more tire pressure or the odometer mileage. That's sad that Lexus would take that off and require you to pay more money for it. That is the only thing we used the app for.

 

That's funny my car still has Safety Connect and Service Connect active, the other 2 ended back in November. I'm still getting mileage displayed, tire pressures and my fuel level is now only a percentage not kms remaining. I'm in Canada though.

 

Thanks for your post. I don't think would have used the app after I noticed the missing data. I just checked and it is now there. Don't know if app was down this morning or Lexus read my comment 😂 😂 but odometer miles back, tire pressure and a new horizontal bar graph showing percentage of gas left not miles to empty.

 

I have the same 2023 model, and my remote connect will expire in a little over a week. I also did not receive any trial extension email and the website says my VIN is not eligible for trial extension. What gives??

Why do some owners receive the trial extension and others aren't eligible?

I'm going to call Lexus during the week to see if there is any way to extend the trial.

 

I have a 2022 and got it! I think it had something to do with the wording in documentation that came with the 2022 model year.

 

So I have a little information about this as I talked to someone in the know in Brand engagement. It was only available to a certain number of 2022s. There was a misprint or lack of wording in the Monroney label (Window Sticker) that did not explicitly say that the Digital Key was on a 3 year trial. The Monroney label is a legall binding sales document in the US (hence no Canada or other country offers) and so they had to provide the extension to comply the law. So only a certain number of VINs received this deal. Mine was built in January of 2023 and it delivevered in February, it was fixed by then.

 

That would fit with me. Mine was a late 2022 model. Build date 10/22.

 

I got mine August 2022, I think the build date was May 2022
