Default Hood Contour

Entering our garage with my NX is tight/challenging with my wife's car and my motorcycle.
Even with the sensor warnings and surround view I cringed as I pass through the right side door frame opening,
I can't see visually how close I am coming to the door frame because there is no sharp hood edge, the hood contour just drops away.
Maybe I could add a shapely contour, something unobtrusive at the right & left edges of the hood that I could see from the drivers position.
I thought of modifying, painting to match & mounting a couple of the antenna "shark fins" I saw on the Pimp my ride thread.
Any Ideas ?

Instead of adding something to the vehicle, how about adding something to the garage?

Say, a tennis ball hanging from the ceiling of the garage, or to the horizontal beam of frame of the garage door. If the ball just touches the mirror on the driver's side, then you are cleared to proceed.

Watch this video on using reference points inside your car.

Thanks , I never thought of the ole tennis ball - maybe hitting the right hand mirror But by then my right side fender is past the door frame
I'm good on the front, my wheels hit two floor rubber stops

I'm trying to trust the right & left white line outlines on my heads up display; when I align the right heads up display line with my right door frame I clear the door frame with a comfortable clearance. But its hard for an old timer like me to trust the surround view system when all my driving life I trusted my eyes and my depth perception. As I posted: the hood contour just drops away, making gaging distance difficult for me.

You have 360 camera that shows your the overall bird's view that should be enough for you to see everything around Maybe you can put some tape on the floor for reference, so you can see where you are near those lines.

I'm in the same boat with my cluttered garage. I put down black coloured duct tape on my floor (cuz I had black, any colour you can clearly see on your camera's will work) to use as guide. I only have about 3 inches to spare when I close my garage door down so as to not hit my hood. I back my car in. I've put a tape mark that just as it disappears from my back up camera I stop. I put down 2 black lines from a magic marker that the rear wheel centre cap must be between so I'm all clear. When that's confirmed I close the door. I also use an object put on a shelf that is my 'centre line' reference so I don't hit the mirrors as I back up too.
