I have a 2024 NX 350 Atomic Silver with black interior and the inside door plastic design looks like it's scratched around the edges. Does anyone see this? Or am I just seeing it differently?
Take a really close look at the edge, maybe it has a clear plastic protective film on it from factory to prevent it from being damaged during shipment. If so you can carefully pick up the edge maybe with your fingernail or a plastic card (nothing metal like a knife you may scratch it) and peel it off. Just about everything thats shiny usually has a film on it when delivered, so stainless steel door sills, this trim you have, piano black plastic etc. Dealer may have forgot to remove it.
My first one had this too. My 2022 NX 350h. I just got a 2025 NX 450h+ and it doesn't have that defect. That being said, definitely a defect. It didn't really bother me, though, so I never brought it up.
My 22 NX350 with the same "black prism" inserts kind of look the same. I just thought it was the way the light shines through the cheap clear plastic edges on the covers. I didn't like it either but there are aftermarket trim kits available that will hide it if it bothers you that much. Or maybe get the real "open pore" wood inserts from Lexus and dump the cheap plastic.
Hmm, I didn't realize there was more than one kind of trim pieces for this. Mine looks quite different, dark wood panel appearance. It doesn't seem to have the same issue.
Perhaps, there is a protective plastic like others have said. My 450h+ has the real wood inserts I wish they went with wood for the rest of the car. Wood does not get as hot as the plastic trim pieces. Chock it up to Shrinkflation and the Tesla effect.
I was browsing Mercari Japan and noticed this listing for the Overtrail wood grain inserts on the speaker trim. This is front and rear for the Mark Levinson equipped models. The picture of the parts themselves had ORNAMENT on the packaging, so I took a look again at the parts diagrams and if I look for the ornaments themselves, it's not too expensive for the black wood grain replacements.

Front Left - 67782F6080C1
Rear Right - 67783F6080C1
Rear Left - 67784F6080C1
These part numbers are for the non-Mark Levinson equipped models. With the current 15% parts sale, I found a few dealers selling all 4 pieces for $492 total (Lexus of Orland, Merrillville, Treasure Coast Lexus).
Only the clear black prism trim was similarly priced in both ML and non-ML configurations.
Do you think this is a reasonable price to replace the clear prism trim?
BTW if you have a Macadamia interior with Mark Levinson package, I think that Overtrail trim would look great in your vehicle.

I was looking at your weird looking, I guess overtrail huh, inserts and just below them there were the original wood grain ones -> https://buyee.jp/mercari/item/m18529890698
