Default Camera detection unavailable remove dirt from camera

Referring to the front of the car I think when I push the parking assist but I’ve taken a rag and wiped off all of the cameras which I assume are those little round things mine are white because the car is white what else can I do?

I guess the cameras are on the grill in the front of the car and under each rearview mirror on the windshield and on the rear windshield and on the tailgate, the camera on the windshield and rear windshield is inside the car you can’t reach it or touch it right? I wonder what those little round things are that are like the size of a quarter on the fenders, something to do with the bodywork, I guess.

So today I completely drained the battery by trying to charge a tire pump compressor with the AC cigarette lighter thing and I did have it doing that for a couple of minutes with the car off no more than five and the AAA guy said that’s what did it those things draw too much power I had no idea now it’s completely dead and he says I’ve got damage permanent damage to the amperage that that’s what happens maybe 10% maybe 20% and then if you do this a second time you’re probably gonna need a new battery. Not sure what others think about this or have experienced but it also have a check engine light because of this so I have to take it to the dealer I hope they don’t charge me it’s under warranty.

Also as I was locked out of my car today with a dead battery and I carry a card key with me but there is no door key in the car key like there is any key fob right, what are you supposed to do if you have just a card key, I happen to have the fob with me. I also have the app and I’m able to lock and unlock doors with the app but if the electrical system is down that wouldn’t work I assume.

I suppose I could carry one of the key fob keys in the car at all times or on me not in the car in the car I’d be locked out of the car on me at all times when I travel any distance I guess that’s the only way if I’m using only the card key on long distances I probably wouldn’t use only the card key.

Your engine light is because you had a dead battery, all they need is reset/erase the code, not a big deal. If you have a proper OBDII tool you can reset it yourself. I killed my battery twice the last year, it is fine, just do not do it again, and you can get a NOCO smart charger that has an option to repair the battery, not sure how effective it it, you can try that if you like, I used that option myself a few times, figured it will not hurt, but it might help and repair something.
Your card key does has a physical metal key inside.
Live and learn, we all learned the hard way not to anything when your car in ACC mode, always and I mean ALWAYS have the car run whatever you are doing.

Card key is pretty thin to have a key in it but I’ll check it out see if I can find it thanks.

Found it, good thing I have a little tiny flathead screwdriver in my car to push it out push that button down. earlier todayI had a heck of a time with the key and the little lever under the door handle getting the door open, I turned the key to the right and I pulled out the lever several times and the door wouldn’t open, it finally did but I don’t know what the person who did it did different than what I was doing.

The front camera that you see when parking and is giving you a warning is the camera in the grill below the Lexus badge. The white things are radar sensors.

Awesome! I wish they included a spray washer on the front camera like they have on backup camera. New cars have so much electronics and are always drawing from the 12 Volt Battery. I have a Trickler Charger by Battery Tender that I use to keep the battery in shape. It has helped the longevity of my Car Batteries. My Great Uncle taught me the trick. He was in the Auto Parts business and he always had tricklers in his cars.

What is this trickle charger plugged into to give it its power while it’s charging a 12 V battery, an electrical socket in the garage where he was doing this?

He has it permanently set up to plug in to the wall when he wants it to charge I guess, do you have one of these? I wouldn’t do it myself because I don’t trust myself to do things like this at all but it’s a great idea.
I thought I heard him use the term “maintenance mode“ or something like that but it can’t always be charging because it’s not plugged in when you’re driving right I mean the trickle charger itself.

and there is no way to determine in our cars I have the hybrid not the plug-in if the 12 V is running low that I can tell is there?

You plug it into a regular power socket so that it will provide power to charge the battery.
You would unplug it when you drive you car. Maintenance mode is more like the trickle charger has full charged the battery and would stop charging and go into maintenance mode so that it will not over charge the battery.

There is no way to know the 12V battery is running low. There is no indication other than you cannot unlock the door or cannot start the car. Many of us have installed a bluetooth battery monitor so that we can check from time to time the voltage of the 12V battery and if it gets low, we can plug in the trickle charger.

Lexus also offers a trickle charger at a premium price, but it has the plug hidden in the grille so you can use plug it into from there.

Never heard of Bluetooth battery monitor until now, I would like to get one and have my mechanic install it, which brand do you have?

Looking it up it looks simple, like clamp it onto the positive and negative posts?

In the beginning of this video it shows the brand and how it is installed.

Thank you ordering online right now!

When you drove the car to see the battery charge go up in the first 12 minutes of the video was that City driving or did you get on the freeway at all during that drive? Re-watching it now I guess I change my question to what were the speeds you were driving I only ask because I was told to drive my car for a couple hours to charge the battery including some freeway driving.

The big news here is it only charged when you were at an incline in your driveway?

So it takes batteries you have to change the batteries in the unit like AA or AAA batteries? Or is the Ancel powered by the12 V battery?

Libertas.....
If you run something w a bigger amperage draw, such as a compressor,
a) Leave Hybrid in Ready mode
b) only connect to the 12v positive RED terminal and negative BLACK terminal of the battery in the cargo area (yes its a pain to get at if the cargo area is loaded) Just a note:
c) use the item below so you do not potentially blow the fuse leading to the cigarette lighter.

Amazon Amazon
