Default Roof racks

Just bought a new nx350h and wondering what roof racks to install.
It would be nice to hear real feedback if the original Lexus racks worth it or it's better to go with not genuine racks, and if it's so which one?

I went with the Lexus OEM Racks. When installing use a real torque wrench and not the included allen wrench. I installed my own. It was easier using a regular torque wrench to get the right tightness. The included allen wrench slips and you can scratch your car or ding it.

Do a search for Roof Bars, Roof Rails and Cross Bars - there have been many threads on this over the past 3 years.

I got the OEM rack, but removed it shortly after installation (more on that later).

Agree with the comment to avoid using the L-shaped torque wrench included with the rack kit. I injured my thumbnail when it slipped, and I doubt the wrench was accurate.

The front rack bar goes right over the moonroof opening and does generate additional wind noise, audible in the vehicle at speeds. That also make the moonroof opening unavailable as an emergency egress method. I ended up removing the rack kit. In the process, I broke the tabs off of some of the black snap-on end caps for the rack crossbars and had to order a new set. So the rack will only go back on and stay on when/if it gets reinstalled.

I put on the OEM ones. Very easy to install. Agree the allen/torque supplied is worthless as it slips frequently.
