My warning sensors no longer go off around stuff in my garage like they did when I first purchased the car - NX350 Fsport (1 month ago). Also, the car needs to get VERY close to an object for the automatic stop to engage. Dealer says that the car has "learned" that oblects in my garage are not a danger. I do not believe this. Who is correct. Any input or ideas are greatly appreciated.
I agree, I don't believe there are any "learning" functions for these sensors. They react according to their settings only, not from past experiences. I think you have referenced two separate systems, the parking assist system is the one that dings at you when you are slowly getting close to objects. This system can be turned off and the volume can be adjusted, so you might want to check your settings haven't accidentally changed. The parking support brake system handles the application of brakes. It can also be independently turned off or adjust the warning volumes. It should only ever activate when you are indeed very close to an object. If it didn't, I would never be able to get in my garage. I'm always serenaded backing into my garage by the parking assist system. I have triggered the parking support brake a bunch of times and I've learned that speed is a major factor. If I whip into the garage almost for sure it will go off, but if I creep in slowly even with the exact same line it never goes off.
I agree with Droid13 . My sensors go crazy when parking in my garage with my wife’s car on one side and backing in towards my motorcycle. Since new in August (now 4,000 miles) there has been no charge in my sensor sensitivity or alarm volume.
As someone mentioned you may be able to change or reset the sensors sensitivity in the “Settings”
Does anyone know if in a 2025 Lexus NX 350 f-sport luxury the blind spot monitor gives an audible signal? Google says it does, my dealer says it does not.
My 2025 NX 350 Luxury (not f-sport) does not give an audible warning, just the flashing warning in the side view mirrors.
Dealers don’t always know the correct answer.
My salesman didn’t know the shortcomings of the Lexus NAV system: Limited to 20 destinations, cannot rename, cannot alphabetize. That’s why I use Apple Car Play.

Agree with Droid13 here. I have a 1 1/2 car garage that is 'stuffed' to gills, but for a small perimeter around my car, I'm talking no more than 12-16 inches in some spots. It's like backing it into a sea-can for shipment somewhere over seas! But I've put down some visual markers on the floor so I know how far to back in and take it very slowly and I only get a few cautionary alarms during the process and no auto brake 'slams'. If I pick up the pace a little too much it will brake hard on me but I can continue on slowly no problem.
