Default 360 cam + sensor information combination

Hi everyone,

happy owner of a 2024 250h UX here, changing it for a 350h NX in 5 months due to the need of more space for the family.
I love the 360 cam + parking sensors info shown on the screens of my UX, given it combines real time video image from the cameras but also shows the sensor colored distance lines on the steering center control, which really helps specially in my apartment parking lot. I have not find any info showing that this works the same way in the NX. It seems that if you get the 360 cam, you are not shown the basic sensor info with yellow and red lines as well. While I have seen some videos in which the bird view show yellow and red lines, it does not seem to have a “layout” so you know how many more layers do you have until the nearest wall/ object, which seems a miss compared with the UX interface.

I went through the NX owners manual with no luck. Can anyone confirm if it is possible to have the same level of info as in the UX? Adding the picture of what I would love to see in the steering console while the 360 cam info is on on the 14” display.

thank you!

It does show the 360 view plus the sensors and beeps as well as you get close to something like a wall, etc. Also hammers the brakes on if it thinks you're going to hit something. May be a bit different form your UX, as I understand that model is still generation behind the NX/RX, but I could be wrong. It also shows you what's under the car as you approach an intersection or other location just before you stop, in the form of translucent car on the screen. It then changes back to solid once you've stopped.

Thank you! My UX is a 2024 model, and I think it does a very good job. Actually, what I was missing from the NX videos I have seen is the sensors information on the steering wheel console (not the multimedia screen). I have seen that the 360 view adds yellow and red sensor proximity info (which my UX also does), but still, the lines shown on the steering wheel console are more fine-grained, so you can get closer to objects without worrying.

Not sure what you mean with Steering Wheel console. The camera image in NX / RX in North America is only displayed on the center mounted screen (Infotainment screen)

My bad. Let me try to clarify. On the UX I see the 360 cam images on the infotainment screen, but at the same time I can see the sensor info (with yellow/ red lines only, no cam image) on the screen behind the steering wheel. It's the combination of both what I find useful and I was wondering if the NX has the same combination or if it only shows the camera images on the infotainment system.

I can't see your location, but in North America I believe the info is only on the center screen and the distance lines on HUD (If equipped)

Thank you. I am based in Europe (Spain) and the trim will be the Luxury package. What you mention is what I also understood from the videos I have seen. Very helpful.
