I was expecting it will get hot but mine seems to be extremely hot to touch when in use. does yours get extremely hot too? concern the power cable will short out because of the heat and possibly cause other issues.

 

I don't normally need to touch the mirror as I leave it on digital all the time, but I did test it yesterday while waiting for my drive thru order (it had been on for about 30 min). It would describe it as very warm, but not extremely hot, FWIW.
