My RX was a bit like driving a couch. A very nice couch mind you. It shined the most just chillaxing along the road. The NX feels firmer, snappier and more manueverable. You can chillaxe in the NX, but you can just feel the yawn building the longer you do it. I could baby my RX for weeks, I usually only can make it an hour or two in my NX before the need to "make it go" comes over me. I do miss the larger trunk of the RX at times though.
LOL The NX is a couch compared to most my other cars I have owned; I am getting used to the NX size though and like it second best
I remember when RX300s were loaners and they were slow, slow. The 350RX is acceptable.

YMMV,

I remember those NX300s loaners. Interior wasn't that bad except for the touchpad but it surely was under powered and interior left small. We tested a few NXs and never purchased.

I was a big fan of the look of the RX330, but alas never got to drive one as back then young kids and new house meant that we ended up with an 04 Sienna instead. Same engine as the RX330 and very decent power. Had that van for 18 yrs with zero issues on engine and transmission, never burned a drop of oil. RX330 had similar power and weight as the NX250/350h so I imagine it would have been a decent performer. By the time favourable winds blew my way, it was the RX450 for me, a little more power than my NX350 but 1000lbs heavier so she was not quick, but was accceptable.

Reason: clarity
This isn't true - I test drove both and noise insulation is better in the 2024 RX vs 2024 NX. This has also been reported by many others in the forum, including those that are owning the 2024 NX and 2024 RX in the family
Makes sense it is better on the RX as it is a more premium vehicle. I would hate it if had the same loud engine sound. Just before getting the NX I actually had a RAV4 and thats even louder than the NX.
