On the left is our 2023 NX 350H that I took off the AWD and on the right is a friends 23 atomic silver before I took off hers. Personal opinion but I think it looks cleaner, easier to seal around and don't care that anyone knows it is all wheel drive.

Regarding AWD

o
since the vehicle is an AWD, that is what someone needs to know so that they do not pull/tow the vehicle via only the front two wheels or the rear two wheels.
The AWD vehicle must be towed on a ramp or truck which does not allow any two wheels touch the ground.

Do you think your girlfriend/wife will remember to tell the tow driver in a stressful situation to NOT tow the car improperly? Hey, I am not sure I would remember to tell that to a tow truck driver on a busy freeway.......And, I am not sure I would trust the tow truck driver to know that
I would consider removing the LEXUS badging though.

In the absolutely rare chance of towing yes she or I would remind them. In six Lexus vehicles with over 600,000 miles driven never had to tow a vehicle. Prior to coming over to Lexus now a million miles driven has one vehicle towed once.

I want people to know it is a Lexus. I think most could care less or even know what AWD is.

Agreed. I don't like people to know what I'm driving and prefer to fly under the radar.

Debadged looks so good. Even better now that Lexus removed the horrible L badge and spelled out Lexus. Debadging is even easier and cleaner looking.

Removing Lexus on the back would be easy.

How do you remove the AWD emblem. Do you just use dental floss back and forth till it releases?

I took a blow-dryer couple inches away on hot for about 20 seconds. Then I just twisted each and came off easily. Some left a slight adhesive which Goo Gone took off. Then waxed and sealed. Took less than 5 minutes.
