Default TPMS for 2023 nx350

I'm buying a set of winter tires and rims for my 2023 nx350 as anyone had luck with after market TPMS ? The one's on amazon look so cheap not sure they would last.
The lexus deal wants $75 cad for each sensor seems pricey.

Thanks

You can buy OEM Toyota TPMS on eBay for a lot less than that! I got four for $60 USD

Thanks for the reply . Will part # 42607-33021 work in my 2023 lexus nx 350? I believe the Lexus part number I need is 42607-06090

Hi alfred67, I have Autel after-market TPMS installed on my rims/winter tire. I don't know the exact model number. I recall I paid $60 (CAND) each. The tire shop cloned the factory TPMS. No issues at all. I already switched over to my winter tires, this will be my second winter. Hope this helps.

I don’t think so. I was just sharing as an example. That was for my 2008 ISF.

The PMV code is what has to match to be able to program them thru the car . Your looking for PMV-E000 which is 315mhz and they come with either rubber or aluminum stems, aftermarket or oem and many Toyota/Lexus part numbers so don't get hung up on that. The E000 is the important part.

PMV -107J like the 42607-33021 mentioned (pre ~2018-2020 on most) used to be the standard "dumb" Toyota/Lexus sensors 4 digit code 107J and had to be programmed.

Here are the newer Gen 5 factory ones and you can see what all they fit and the years. https://www.ebay.com/itm/192386375584

I bought this set and running them for 8 months on my second set of wheels with no problems.Programmed them myself thru the car.

Just let the TPMS light shine during the winter - that's my plan.

If I get aftermarket TPMS with new rims/wheels will the car and the Lexus app still read it like it does currently? Sorry for the noob question but not too familiar with how tpms works.

I guess that's my plan too now. Last year I went to a lot of effort researching alternatives to avoid paying for OEM sensors at the dealership and bought a set on amazon that were reported on this forum to work. I should have got a set reprogrammed at various local tire shops that promise them to work. I would now need to take the tires off and on and that TPMS light doesn't really bother me that much.

Lexus now uses Pacific Gen 5 TPMS senders and ECU that have a standard of PMV-E000. They can be programmed and changed thru the NX. It only lets you store 2 sets. When I changed wheels just swap from 1 to 2 on the NX.

Search on Amazon, ebay or Google for PMV-E000

Here's another option from a pretty reputable seller, Tire Rack.
