Default 2024 NX Discount off MSRP??

I’m thinking of getting a 2024 NX 350 F Sport (non hybrid) would I be looking at paying full MSRP or should be getting any discount? I’m a prior Lexus owner, would they offer $1000.00 for that?

What if dealer has all these ads on’s to the MSRP? I’ve seen some push $4.000.00 in add on’s on window sticker. I don’t want to pay for add on’s.
Any Advise?

I bought 3 Lexus (2 NX and 1 IS350F) in the past 9 months.

I have gotten about 5-6% off MSRP on all of them and around 10% on the IS.

I just recently bought a 2024 nx 350 sport and got $ 5000 of msrp. No add ons. The end of the month is better and if the car has been on the lot for awhile. I also paid cash.

Close to what I got - NICE DEAL!

Just an FYI - dealers hate cash. They are actually motivated and incentivized to get people to finance. Finance companies incentivize them... and sometimes depending on how desperate they are to sell a car they will pass those incentives on to you or a portion of it.

With new cars CASH is not king

I finance - grab all the finance incentives then pay it off with cash.

I didn't want add on's - I wanted the Lux package because I wanted the bigger screen and the ML. ML was important to me. If they add on... I say, I don't that XXXXXX....and sometimes they just take the money off.

if you enjoy it that much you should consider a side gig as a broker negotiating prices on behalf of your customers.

Towards the end of the month, dealer prefer cash because they need the car sold or otherwise, will be penalized by Lexus and receive less cars to sell.
I was told if you buy gas engine, you could get 7% or so discount on the NX. Hybrid no discount due to demand.

How is cash different than financing in terms of getting paid? Does a car not get sold if someone finances?

Thanks everyone for your replies.

I’m going to shoot for $2000.00 off MSRP and $1000.00 Lexus loyalty. I’d be happy with $3k off MSRP. I doubt they will do that. I have a couple lexus dealers near me. I just don’t want add on for tint, coatings etc adding up the price over MSRP.

If you want to hit $2000, you probably need to start at $3000. Check the dealer websites. Sometimes they have listings showing incentives. My local dealer is showing $3K markup for hybrid, no markup for plugin, and $500-$1500 incentive for gas. Other than hybrid, pretty sure they can be negotiated lower if the car is on the lot. With hybrid, most come in pre-sold.

Are you looking at a car on their website? If so is the listing stating any add-ons? If they are some may be installed already and you have no choice. Then you ask for more off msrp. Most add-ons dont cost them alot.

Cash sale got $2500 off…that was offered on the website at time of sale from Lexus of Lehigh Valley. Took it and smiled. Competition was selling at list.

if they get the car on 27th (happened to me) if you finance it takes time to apply for a loan and get it approved where as cash transaction is instant.
