Default IGLA PIN Code Car Security System

So I finally decided to get the IGLA PIN code system and could not be any happier. My anxiety about potential theft is gone! We are having a lot of car robberies and thefts in the Toronto area, and getting a security system that is proven to be effective yet still very intuitive and user-friendly is a game changer. For those looking for a security solution for their Lexus NX's, It has been on our 2023 NX350h for 4 weeks now and works perfectly. You can code your unique pin to a combination of buttons in the SUV. Thought id share with you all

Only 4 locations nation wide? Not an option for me.

How does "valet mode" work? Are you able to program a separate code so that you can, for instance, have the dealership drive it into the shop for work? Or out on the highway for a road test? Or when out for dinner have a valet park it for you?

They provide you with valet key fobs and there is a service mode for dealerships when you give it to them.

You can turn it off or leave a fob in vehicle that disables it. The Dealer would never know you have it installed. It does not invalidate the warranty anyway, It was explained to me that the code can be changed when ever you want. I will be installing this in my NX 450H+ when ever it arrives currently 458 days waiting.

Do you know if your installer had any problems integrating the IGLA system with the new NX 350 technology? I recently talk to my local Lexus dealership who do a lot of work with a car accessory company that installs both Viber and the IGLA systems and they indicated that there had been some issues integrating the IGLA system with the new NX and RX technologies.

Where do you get this IGLA PIN Code System? I found the web site but they don't list any locations even though there is a link to locate a dealer. They want you to send them all your information just to see where they are located. @af17609174 mentioned only available in 4 locations. But no clue provided as to where they are. I'm way down south in Florida and a lot of posters appear to be canadian.

I have had it for a month and 0 issues. Works perfectly with remote starting as well from both the fob and the Lexus mobile app. I tested both after installation.

I believe this is the only place in Florida that installs it. Not sure how close this is to you. I know in Georgia there is only one and it's on the other side of the state from me.

@GreyGooseNX Thanks for that address. I'm on Central West Coast Florida and that is South East Coast Florida. But if I take the Florida Turnpike it's right at a 3-1/2 hour drive one-way. So it would be an all day event to get there, install and drive home. I'd most likely make it a 2 day event.

@SgtLip no problem. Glad I could help. If you call and see how much it is I'd love to hear as the installer in Georgia is charging $1200 so I am curious to see if that's the going price or not. Granted the value for the piece of mind for me exceeds that.

This seems like it is a replica of the Autowatch Ghost system. I had that installed earlier this year. I had it removed when the valet mode, also discussed in this video, didn't work. They too have a FOB option, but in my humble opinion, this is the Achilles heel. Anytime there is a remote connection of some sort, that is the place the smart crooks are going to bypass the system. The Ghost came with a window sticker, wondering if this does as well. That's supposed to deter thieves. It may become an invitation to those that have figured out how to hack it. May be safe for now, but give them time.

I also disagree with the club statement. Joyriders will be deterred with that. It'll keep them from smashing into the window or whatever to get into the car. That is what I use now.

Had the car parked at the YYZ Valet Park N Fly lot for 3 weeks, returned last Friday and the car was still there. Recall my 2020 RX350 was stolen last December form their self parking lot.

My insurance company covers full replacement value for 5 years. If the car is stolen at month 59, I'll get back everything I paid for it. That gives me the comfort to know my loss will be minimized. We keep minimal stuff in the car anymore and use the club in high risk areas, that we know of. Car is parked in the garage when not used. My opinion, save your money as I think these cost in excess of $1300.00 CDN, correct me if I'm wrong. Use that to buy a better insurance coverage and a decent club. Mine has a combination lock, there is no key to drill out.

@JasDmw Good info. Thanks for sharing. I was considering a club but I don’t know much about them. I know they’ve been around for a long time but I never really thought about having one of them in the past. Can you share more about a good brand or ones to stay away from when purchasing? I think I’d go straight to a manufacturer to get one and not Amazon. There’s just certain things that I don’t trust Amazon sellers with and security is one of them. Any good links are appreciated. Thanks.

I bought this one off Amazon. I like it as it is very visible, adding to the deterrence factor. It weighs a lot and the dial numbers do scrape the surface of the horn button. I have a cloth in the car that I put between this and the horn button to avoid that issue.

Not sure why you don't trust Amazon provided products, I have had a lot of good success with them. They are essentially a retailer (on line marketplace) for products, they don't make anything although they have private labelled items and I have had good success with those as well. But if you prefer, your local parts store can help you.
