Has anyone had to use a tow hook on their 22/23 NX? Mine did not come with one in the trunk and when I asked the dealer about it they told me that the new models don’t have one available. I found that kind of weird and my dealer is frequently incorrect on stuff so I figured I’d ask here.
The Lexus part 51960 does not appear to fit my NX.
I am looking because I want to use a tow hook mount for my license plate.
Don't those plate mounting things just use the threaded point behind the front bumper rather than the to hook itself?
Edit - a quick look at Amazon says they just need the threaded hole in the bumper and not the recovery point hook.

Yes, but the company I want to buy from doesn’t have one for the NX yet so they asked if I could send them some specs so they could figure what I need. One of the things they asked for was measurements on the tow hook.
LOL, yea, what is up with that lonely dollar store screw driver. First time I saw it I think I just stared at it for 1 minute trying to fathom what I was looking at in a WTFITS trance. Then I laughed. Where's the finger nail file to go with it!
I have a 23 NX 450H+ Base. Here are the photos of the Tow Pin I received with my vehicle.
Note: Made comments under each photo.
This is the Tow Pin received. It is a total of 10" long. The Thickness of the Tow Pin is 1". The Tow Pin Threads are 3/4". I do not know the thread number.
