I purchased a NX 350h about 2 weeks ago, and a few days ago this issue popped up where the backup camera view no longer takes up the entire screen, as it did before (I have the larger 14” screen).

It shrunk down to a rectangle in the middle of the screen, with black bars on the top/left/right sides. I have scrounged through the manuals and settings on the car and I cannot find where to fix it. Has this happened to anyone, and if so how did you fix it?

 

You’re in the fisheye view. Tap the icon to the left of the check surroundings message and it will be the normal view and you’ll have less space at the top. Fun tip: if you tap the icon to the right of the message you can switch between different gridline options to help guide you when reversing.

The backup camera is not supposed to take up the entire screen. You’ll always have a little space at the top and the same amount of space on the left and right.
