Is the reverse camera support to use the whole display? When I go in reveres it only uses 8 inch portion of the screen. More annoyingly, when going into wide angle view, the sides a crushed to fit in the wrong aspect ratio instead of utilizing valuable display real estate. Is this normal? Pictures attached.

Click the other view on the lower left hand size. It will be bigger than what you have now but it wont be a full screen. This view will fill in the gaps you have on top/buttom but will still leave some black on the left/right side.
Defeats the purpose of having a 12" screen if you can't use it all when it matters the most.
With the panoramic option, the combination of pano and backup camera does fill the entire 12” screen. It doesn’t explain why they couldn’t have used more of the screen for the backup display on the non-panoramic screens. Just an observation and nothing we can use to draw any particular conclusion.
