Default Panorama Glass Roof

I’ve never seen the new NX with a Panorama Glass Roof, I’ve only seen them with moonroof.
Is this new for 2024? Or did they ever appear on 22' or 23' model? Will this only be available in certain regions of the US?
When I try to build it on Lexus website for 2024 in FL there is no option for Pano roof only moonroof.

According to Lexus USA.com it says:

Panorama glass roof (with Luxury Package) $500.00
Panorama glass roof (with F SPORT Handling Luxury Package) $1600.00

Why is there such a difference in price if it’s the same pano roof?

This is the only picture I see on the build it now for a NX 350 F Sport, it’s under the Accessories tab at the end (Luxury pkg no cost option) and this picture shows.

I don't know when Lexus started the pano roof but my 2022 NX 350 AWD with the Luxury packager and other stuff has it. Waste of money as far as I concerned but then I would prefer not to have the sun roof, never use it. I think most dealers add a bunch of extras when you have the Luxury package and I would guess you will have a hard time finding any Lexus with the Luxury package that doesn't have the pano roof. Why the $1,000 price difference I don't know.

I’m curious, do you remember how much your panorama roof cost on your window sticker?

If you often have rear passengers and like the idea of providing them with more natural light on nice days, then it is kind of nice. Otherwise, there really isn't a lot of benefit for front passengers. All my cars in the past 15 yrs or so have had moon roofs, and I actually found the glass roof on the NX seems to start further back than any of the moon roofs, so even less benefit for front seats unless you just want the air vent, not the light. I don't know if the NX moon roof starts in the same position as the glass roof though, or if it starts a bit more forward like other ones I'm used to. I do like ithe glass roof, but if you for whatever reason don't get one I would not worry about "missing out" on anything particularly special about it.

It was $500 upgrade on my sticker for 23 NX350H Luxury.
I think the difference in price is because the moonroof is included on the NX350H Luxury package for $49,405.
So ,basically just upgrading pano roof from moon roof.

Personally, I would not pay that much for the pano roof. In fact, I ask initially asked for the $500 pano roof on the 350h Lux. Thinking, why not? However, a Japan 350h Lux loaded allocation came in with everything but the pano roof. I accepted it. I am actually glad I did not get it now. Even the moonroof with a 30%L Stratos window tint lets in a surprising amount of heat and too much light at noon. I would not want a whole car with this heat/light built-in overn.

I think moonroof is a reasonable compromise. But I do admit, the pano room looks cool. But so was a moonroof when they first came out in the 70/80s. Now, yawn. LOL

I’m the opposite - I leave the sunshade closed on sunny days and open the shade to get more light in the cabin on dull days. In the UK it came included in my 2022 Takumi NX 350h

Our 2022 350h Luxury has the Panoramic glass roof. I think I heard due to supply chain issues Lexus stopped offering the Pano for a while. While I like the larger glass panel that it has, it is also annoying that there is a large bar across the middle and when opened it doesn't open 100% (more like 60%)
