Default 12volt solutions installed remote start

So I got and installed the 12volt solutions remote start and cellular add on. It installed in about 20 minutes and works exactly as described. It is -11 here now and the fact there is no upgrade for the 2016 NX is ridiculous.

Just wanted to say as of now this was a pretty good mod.

I have a 2016 NX200T F-Sport. I will note the only difference from their install video is that in my F-Sport the weird white thing under the steering column was double zipped tied to other wiring and if my hands were just a little bigger I don't think I'd be able to do it.

I have the 12v kit paired with my own Viper SmartStart VSM550, which cellular add on did you go with? I assume 12v's but wanted to see.

Only regret is I should of had 12v program it for a longer run time before sending it to me, 15 min is not enough when it's really cold, now I have to ship it back in the summer for them to do it when I least use the kit lol

Does the cellular add on require a monthly fee? Since my '16 F Sport will end in October once they stop the 3G, Im starting to look for options. I still hate how Lexus does not have the parking lights/DRL's come on when you remote start the SUV (At night it would be really nice) so you know the damn thing is actually running lol

I heard that if you open the door it shuts off the car. That's a bummer, I would have considered it if it stayed on. Is there any that do that? I am in Cali and car is garaged, I would just get it for the cool factor and the car dying when you open the door kills the vibe LOL

No way around that either, car does not have the ability to detect they key a second time when you get in like most other brands

It does require a fee, the first year is free and then $39/year or $99 for 3 years.

Does anyone know if they can program the heated steering wheel to come on? That would be a nice add.
