Stop Android app from opening when connected to bluetooth
I have a 2018 NX 300h and use my phone a lot in the car, especially when first turning the vehicle on as I want you stay certain things before I actually start moving. Did anyone know how to get the car to stop telling the phone to start the Lexus app when connected to bluetooth? I find this to be a HUGE headache! I wrote a terrible review in the Play Store in hopes it would get to a developer but the only response I got was to call Lexus Enform to learn how to use the app. Since the app is useless when in the car and all it has is a disconnect from Bluetooth button, I didn't think calling them would work. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with them and resetting everything in the car and phone, it didn't do anything. I need to use an app on my phone to get into and out of my parking garage, start Google maps and start my podcast playback; ask things that are VERY difficult to do when the Lexus app keeps coming up in the foreground! Before the Lexus app merged with the Enform app, I just didn't install Enform. That gave me an error when starting the cart saying that the car was trying to open an app that doesn't exist on my phone but I'd click ok and it would be gone. Now, the Lexus app opens, I close it, then it continues to open 3-4 more times while I'm trying to do these other things I need to stay before I get moving. Any suggestions? I am surprised other folks don't have this issue but I can't find it anywhere.
