Bluetooth hookup/connecting
Does your bluetooth phone connect up in the car 100% of the time? Sometimes mine will other times its a pain to try and get it connected--either have to turn the phone off/on or the car itself.
It works the best if the car is off and we get into it with phone crank it up and most of the time it connects up! But say the car is running without any phone hooked up at the time and the wife gets in with her phone on--it has a hard time wanting to connect--like it doesnt see it but if I were to cut her phone off then back on it would connect--if not restart the car. Kind of baffles me at times.
I know the BT on the phone works great because we have the BT earphones with the flip out boom--As soon as I flip that out it connects to her phone instantly?? You would think the car would do the same thing--
Does the car have a set time limit to "look" for the phone and if it doesnt find one it wont till a restart?
YES her phone is the primary one selected 99.9% of the time.

Mine does...
I can say that my phone (Sony Erickson) does connect 100% without fail. It works great. On one occasion my wife was driving the Lexus and following me in my car. My phone was still connecting to the Lexus Bluetooth from my moving car.
My wife is getting a bluetooth phone this week. I'm not if this will throw a wrench into things or not, I'll let you know.

We never had any problem with two phones. The last phone connected to the car will always show up automatically. If you want the other phone to connect, you need to go through the process of selecting the second phone and disconnect the first phone.
My only complaint is you will need to push quite a few buttons going through the process of selecting the second phone. Lexus needs to do better than this.

What I mean is: I wish there was a way to have multiple phones connected to the vehicle's bluetooth hands free link simultaneously. Or at the very least, the ability to switch phones easily. (For example, if there was a way to link a phone to each driver seat setting, that would be awesome!)

^ That would be a great idea. Or maybe have it so that you can assign a phone to each memory seat setting. It makes a lot of sense for couples who share the driving pleasure. Pushing a bunch of buttons each time just to switch phones is not very convenient at all. I don't even bother to connect my phone anymore.
