Default Oil Light.

Hello:
I’ve an NX 300 2021 model (non hybrid and not Sport), I have done couple of oil changes and could not find the oil pressure light (its not the maintenance one). Normally when we first turn the ignition on all lights light up for a second and go out quickly, and oil light should be one of them usually red in color. But for some reason I have not been able to locate where the light is. I took it to the dealership and the person there was not able to locate that either. Anyone knows. Thank you!

Next time you get in the car. Press the start button without touching the Brake Pedal. Get the car in ACC.

Take a picture of the all the colored lights on the dash. You looking for a little Oil Servicing Can.

I read my manual (2020) and it seems that this light is found in the "multi-information display". Seems that this is a light/symbol that only appears when there is one of many 'warnings' and you go into "Warning Message Display". Very confusing. I will try to get into that screen/display tomorrow to see if I can find it.

I see it in the Manual page 373, references back to "Multi-Information Display" which is on page 80 and then few subsequent pages have some related info. Inside the vehicle I still could not find where this would be (at all visible) even with the information given. Not sure why would Toyota make this such a difficult thing or an oversight (may be)!

See where it displays " depress brake and then start engine", that is where the low oil light would come on, I dont think it is part of the start up sequence.

Yeah, it's no longer a light that turns on, on your dashboard, as you turn your ignition on. It will come up as an onscreen warning to alert the driver of inconsistent oil pressure. You can also monitor your oil pressure if you scroll through the various gauges/meters on your onscreen display.

Actually the oil pressure gages only come in Sport model config, mine is AWD base non hybrid. That’s why I was curious about this whole thing - this would be standard if there’s turbo in there!

Ah, that's new to me, kind of weird since it's still the same engine regardless of the trim/package level.
