I need some help. Need to reset ECU by disconnecting the negative wire of the battery. I am hoping to fix the hot air issue. My car is NX200t 2015 model. I am aware that some data will be lost. Will the backup camera be affected along the way? I am a bit concerned that backup camera won't function properly as I was warned by a friend.
Today I disconnected the negative terminal of the battery, waited for 15 minutes and get it reconnected. I pressed the start button once without hitting the brake pedal. The system started loading and it took about 2 minutes. Once all the information are showing as normal, I pushed the start button to turn if off. After a few minutes' wait, I started the engine and turned on the AC. Voila! I got the cold air from the passenger side vents. It is like magic!
The AC repair technician said the Freon was full so the blend door actuator must be replaced to fix the issue, which would cost me 200 dollars. I am not sure if it could solve the problem even with a replacement motor.
It was a nice surprise that I didn't not lose any settings like seat memories, Bluetooth connection with my phone. Backup camera operates normally with moving guidelines.
Backup camera will be fine if you don't have the Beat-Sonic front camera kit installed like I do. Anytime my battery is disconnected or dies I have to remove the Beat Sonic module for the OEM camera system to reinitialize then I can reinstall it.
One time, I screwed the trajectory lines up by not allowing it to do a full learn procedure after the battery went flat for some time. In case something similar happens to you, you can access the "secret" menu to fix it by starting the car and turning the lights on and off 3x while holding the menu button down.

Mine is a Japan domestic model. I can't find service menu. There are a few settings in Japanese language but it looks like other menus for gas stations, things like that. I am from Yangon, Myanmar.
