He said it is a special job and the technician that does the job is not always available. Anyway, he did a clean job and gave life time warranty. I am happy.

How did the technician replace the cover ? Did it require the headliner to be removed or is there a way to remove the cover from outside the car without damaging the antenna?

A dealer did this to one of my prior cars, a European brand that I won't name. I had the car for 9 months and it was literally the car's final inspection before the corporate organization took back possession of the car under the lemon law. I believe the dealer did it on purpose, to blow the deal, as the roof was now ever so slightly deformed, exactly as described here. They tried to blame it on me, claiming excess wear. No matter that the supposed roof damage was wholly unrelated to the lemon law issue (an electronic transmission that would randomly shift into park at speed). I got a can of color-matched spray paint and some silicone sealer and shoved everything back into place. Signed my lemon law contract and walked away, daring them to take me court. I now have my NX. No more Euro cars. No more Euro dealers.
