Default Shark fin antenna removal

Hey guys was planning to wrap my roof with vinyl and instead of wrapping the shark fin, i want to just replace it with a black antenna. Does anyone know how this is done? Or a DIY maybe?

From what I read, you'd have to take off the C-pillars and the headliner to access the antenna cover. I'm planning to do this somewhat this month. My roof is wrapped already and I tried taking off the pillar/headliner and I was afraid I was gonna break something.

Did you wrap around your shark fin antenna with any problems? I know if is difficult with the antenna still there but are there any noticeable areas around the antenna that reveals the paint?

We wrapped around the fin and push it in the gap with a squeegee as much as possible. Touch it up with little material if it's showing. Once I figured (or manned up) how to open the headliner myself, I'd probably re-wrap the roof. As of now, I'm happy with the look and might just consider keeping the antenna white.
