Good evening, and God bless you. Thank you for reading my post. I just bought a 2019 NX AWD with 21750 miles on it. I previously drove a V6 mustang. When I drive the Lexus when it’s down shifting under 1000 RPM it feels like the transmission lags and becomes sluggish. I feel as if it isn’t downshifting smoothly once I go under 20 mph. Has anyone else experienced this. I appreciate all your responses. Be well.

I haven't played with the downshifting from the paddle shifter when it's under 1k rpm/or in the first gear range.
I tried it from 3rd to 2nd and it didn't feel like sluggish.

If I get a chance, I'll try it out and will report back.

Hopefully other members will chime in if they experienced something similar.
